Can you use isopropyl alcohol to clean the bongs?

Yes! The bongs are covered in a layer of resin, keeping the design safe from cleaning! It’s like cleaning any other bong. (This is applicable for all bongs sold after December 1, 2022)

How do you clean the bongs?

This bong is coated in a thin layer of resin which is very durable. I recommend more frequent but mild cleanings with this piece. Use a mild soap (I use dish soap) and shake the soapy water inside the piece. 

For a deeper clean I recommend 91% isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt. Use the provided wine cork to clog the stem to keep the solution inside the bong. You can let this sit and then shake the mixture and dump it in the sink. You should not let the outside of the bong soak in the alcohol, however if any gets on the outside it will not hurt the bong (just rinse off and continue the process). Rinse the piece and you are good to go!

How does a custom request work?

Email me at: shopdevased@gmail.com with your ideas of what you want on your piece. Feel free to send any references! I will reply back within 24 hours with any clarifying questions to make sure we are on the same page with the design. I will then send you the pieces I have in stock for you to pick from. The pricing depends on the design and the bong base you pick. Assume it will be in the range of $150-$200. Once all the details are in order I will make a slot on my website for your order. All the details of the order and the piece you picked will be there. You can then pay there. I can hold the chosen piece for up to a week. Once I get payment I will begin your piece! I then will keep you up to date on the process of painting it and ship it off when it’s all done! The project will take 1-2 weeks to complete. 

Can I order any of the bongs on the Design Lookbook?

The design lookbook is a look through of all the pieces I’ve made in my career with DeVased! All pieces are available as a custom order. Since I will be making the piece from scratch it is very similar to my custom process (see above questions for more details). I can change around any of the colors whatever special requests you have for those designs as well!

Who runs DeVased?

DeVased is a one woman show! My name is Tori and I live in Rochester, New York. I have been painting for a bit over a decade, have a BFA from RIT and running DeVased since March 2022. I was looking for a way to make more functional art and have been studying how to make the best painted bongs I can! I am starting to expand into painting more things such as flower vases and trays too!
